Celebrating Years of Success

Celebrating Years of Success

Michael Tuck Lettings are celebrating this month with the tenth anniversary of successful lettings and management in the region.

The Michael Tuck group have been selling houses and financial advice for over 25 years. 10 years ago they saw a gap in the market and opened a new lettings and property management department to allow customers to buy, rent, finance and sell properties all under one roof.

Since inception, the lettings department has seen year on year growth and soon came to be recognized as one of the area’s leading lettings and management companies. As the company opened more offices the lettings department grew to support the range of services offered to customers.

The most recent office to open in 2008 is at Benhall Avenue, Cheltenham; They offer landlords the chance to have property advertised in both Cheltenham & Gloucester through prominent window displays and the media via The Echo and Citizen,
www.michaeltuck.co.uk & Rightmove and Findaproperty.com.

Ian Lazell is responsible the running and compliance of the company whilst Richard Tuck has been busy preparing for the new EPC (Energy Performance Certificates) rules which come into effect on October 1st for all new let properties. If any landlord wishes to know more details about the new regulations they can contact Richard direct on 01452 726422 where he will be able to help arrange the appropriate paperwork to comply with the new rules.

Over the last 10 years the lettings industry has changed and tightened up with new legislation being introduced to ensure tenants are more protected now from rogue agents and landlords, Michael Tuck Lettings belong to the industry’s leading professional body ARLA (Association of Residential Letting Agents) who regulate professional letting agents to ensure standards are maintained to a high level and reassurance that both landlords and tenants receive a high level of service

Ian Lazell was asked for his comments on the market and responded by saying “We have seen over the past few months a big rise in the number of properties available to let due to the current housing market. Many vendors with empty properties have chosen to rent their houses to generate a regular income until the market begins to stabilise, this has allowed us to increase our advertising whilst helping first time buyers to rent until they have saved enough money for a deposit”.

Michael Tuck have six Lettings offices in Gloucester & Cheltenham and all available properties are marketed through the network including branches in Worcestershire & Wiltshire.
