CHOICE IN ABUNDANCE FOUND AT PERSIMMON’S KINGSWAY DEVELOPMENT

If you’re looking for a property which boasts ample living space, in a sought-after location in Gloucester, at a price you can afford, then Persimmon Homes South Midlands’ Kingsway development will be right up your street, as it offers all three in abundance.

“No matter what your taste, requirements or budgets, we have a property to suit you as we have such a wide selection of housetypes on offer at Kingsway which are appealing to first time buyers, couples, young and growing families as well as those looking to downsize,” states Alison Reading, sales director for Persimmon Homes South Midlands.

Persimmon has reported that it is selling the properties at Kingsway ahead of schedule with househunters taking advantage of the reasonably priced homes on offer. Alison adds: “We’re selling at least one property a week at the moment, demonstrating the appeal of what we have available.”

To make the buying process that much more affordable, Persimmon is also offering the 70 per cent shared equity HomeBuy Direct initiative, to enable those earning less than £60,000 to purchase 100 per cent of their home for initially just 70 per cent of the marketed price. The remaining 30 per cent is made up by an equity loan which is co-funded by the Government and Persimmon Homes.

Under the scheme, purchasers could secure their brand new housetype at Kingsway for just £97,997 for the coach house design.

Persimmon’s latest phase of housetypes at the development include a selection of three and four bedroom properties with prices start from £161,995 (£117,997 with HomeBuy Direct) and £229,995 respectively. Also on offer is the beautiful two bedroom coach house, which is ideal for first time buyers and is priced at £139,995 (£97,997 through HomeBuy Direct).

Alison concludes: “The number of visitors we’re welcoming each week and the speed of reservations means that there will soon be limited availability for each housetype, so I’d recommend those thinking of moving home soon come and visit our Kingsway development before they potentially miss out.”

Located on the southern boundary of Gloucester, Kingsway is just a short drive from the city centre and the M5, for easy access to Stroud and Bristol to the south and Cheltenham, Worcester and Birmingham to the north.

Persimmon is not only building new homes but as part of the consortium an entire new community is being developed too. Kingsway Village already boasts a new school, and future developments will include community centre, health and sport facilities including a cricket square, a pavilion and tennis courts, as well as shops, play areas and parkland.

With easy access to Gloucester city centre and its excellent amenities, the development offers modern living in an exciting new destination. Gloucester is an excellent location with a good road network enabling residents to enjoy semi rural life with access to nearby towns and cities.
