AFFORDABILITY IS KEY AT GLOUCESTERSHIRE HOUSING SCHEME

House-hunters looking for affordable living close to Gloucester city centre can buy a home for a fraction of the price at a new development in Quedgeley.

Bromford Homes has released for sale a range of one bedroom apartments and two and three bedroom houses at its Kingsway scheme at East Church – all starting from just £25,500*.
The new-build properties are available through the housing provider’s Flexi Purchase scheme – a purchase plan designed specifically to help people step onto the housing ladder.

It means people can buy a share of between 25 and 75 per cent of the total property value, paying a reduced rent on the remaining balance.

Beverley Hall, spokesperson for Bromford Homes, said: “We offer a range of flexible purchasing options for people struggling to buy a home outright. Our Kingsway development offers them the chance to own a brand new home for a price they can afford. They can then buy further shares as and when finances allow.”

Kingsway is part of a new multi-million pound community south west of Gloucester city centre. As part of the development, new shops, leisure and education facilities are being built for residents.

Beverley continued: “Kingsway is in an excellent spot close to Gloucester city centre and has good road links along the A38 and M5. Quedgeley has its own range of amenities. More shops, bars and restaurants can be found in Gloucester city centre.”

An open weekend is being held from Saturday 24th January where buyers can meet Bromford sales advisors and discuss the range of properties available. A view home will also be open.
