Demand for Tenants at Coopers Edge

MORE proof that the local rental market is thriving comes from the Abbeymead office of estate agent Michael Tuck, which reports finding tenants for seven properties on the Cooper’s Edge development alone in the past month.

Lettings manager Kurt Swanborough said: “It’s the ideal location for many tenants who commute to work, being within easy reach of Gloucester, Cheltenham and the M5.

“Landlords have woken up to the fact that they can find good deals, especially if they are multiple property buyers and this up and coming development of new homes has everything going for it.”

According to Kurt Swanborough, demand for rented property in Cooper’s Edge in Brockworth is across the range of house types.

“We let four three bedroom town houses, a couple of two bedroom houses and a pair of two bedroom apartments – all within ten days of receiving instructions from the owner landlords. As long as properties are priced realistically there’s strong demand from tenants.”

This is a situation that he believes will continue into the future. “At the Abbeymead office the lettings department is certainly busier than ever and I believe that strong demand will carry on.

“People who find it difficult to buy because they can’t raise the large deposits lenders are asking for are looking to rent – and that’s not going to change in the near future.

“We expecting to find a lot more tenants for rental properties at the Brockworth development and as we’re the local expert we believe we have the edge at Cooper’s Edge”.
