PERSIMMON HAS GLOUCESTER COVERED

Persimmon Homes is further proving its commitment to providing high quality homes in Gloucester to suit a wide variety of househunter’s requirements and budgets buy supporting the Government- led initiative HomeBuy Direct, a shared equity scheme.

Properties will be sold under the Government’s HomeBuy Direct scheme, whereby househunters will be required to raise funding, including a mortgage plus any small deposit where available, of at least 70 per cent of the purchase price. The remaining 30 per cent will be made up by an equity loan which is co-funded by the Government and Persimmon Homes.

Alison Reading, sales director for Persimmon Homes South Midlands, explains: “Households earning less than £60,000 who can not otherwise afford to purchase a suitable property unassisted on the open market will be eligible to apply.”

HomeBuy Direct is available at Persimmon’s Gloucester developments, which include the following:

Kingsway, Quedgeley

The development hosts a beautiful selection of two, three, four and five bedroom properties which are priced from £120,750 for a two bedroom design through HomeBuy Direct. The company has been attracting a host of buyers from first timers and young couples through to executives after a luxury location to call home.

Alison continues: “We’re also selling our much-admired three/four bedroom Leicester showhome at Kingsway, which comes complete with carpets throughout, ceramics within the kitchen and landscaped rear garden.”

The Maples, Gloucester centre (A10)

The development has a number of two, three and three/four bedroom properties which are specifically designed and marketed for families. With HomeBuy Direct, prices start from just £104,997 for a three bedroom home with garage.

The Marketplace, Gloucester

Launched in December, The Marketplace is situated in Gloucester’s stylish city centre. The development hosts a number of one and two bedroom apartments to two, three and four bedroom homes, available in a variety of designs, from townhouses to traditional family homes. Prices start from £119,000 for a three bedroom home. Due to the stage of build, purchasers are also able to cherry pick their favourite plot on the development as well as personalise their kitchen and/or bathroom through Persimmon’s Finishing Touches range.

Alison concludes: “We have developed an excellent level of familiarity of the city as well as an acute awareness of what househunters are looking for in the area. We are therefore confident in the knowledge that we are able to satisfy demand with our range of homes across our developments in the region.”
